A surprise two-day visit to Northern Ireland for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off this afternoon in Belfast. The visit which was kept under wraps for security reasons will see the couple acknowledge how much division has been overcome in recent years.
Their first stop was the Windsor Park Football Stadium, home of the governing body for football in Northern Ireland.

A quick change of jacket and shoes on the pitch.

The couple met officials.
