I found this on my twittttter feed this morning, Hugh's War on Waste has re tweeted it. This advert has been banned from TV for being too political, but it can be found on yooootoooob. Hugh says concern for the planet isn't political, it's ethical. He's right. Watch it and see what you think. I reckon it should be blitzed all over the internet. A clever bit of marketing from Iceland I reckon, although I very rarely shop there.



Talking of palm oil, I was dead chuffed to find these two jars on Aldi shelves. These butters are exactly what they say, 100% nuts, no added ingredients, and they taste very nice. I still make my own peanut butter by the way, I just wanted to try these.

Now all I've got to do is find some cream crackers with no palm oil. I can see me reading a lot of labels from now on, thank goodness there is no palm oil in fruit, veg, and fresh salads.  Let me know what items you have changed to, to avoid palm oil?   ilona
